14 Weeks Pregnancy Update..
This week the baby has more defined facial features, it can now turn its head and wrinkle its brow and may even be sucking its thumb. It can now respond to external stimulus by actually moving away when the doctor feels the abdomen. The baby is now roughly 9cm and weighs around 60g.
My baby bump is a little more prominent but people still can't actually tell I'm pregnant, they just assume I'm a little chubby. I have been wearing my 'Baby on board' badge, and 1 person did give me their seat on the tube! *hooray*
I have been taking the Pregnacare vitabiotics supplement since I found out I was pregnant for those who are wondering. It contains all the essential vitamins and folic acid. I sometimes take their omega 3 tablets too. Currently my eating is still a bit crap, but it's improving. I have been put off every single strong smell with the most disgusting scent being fish *bleuuuuurghhh* I go for anything plain and just a whole bunch of fruit. Fruit is the best.
I have been rubbing all sorts on my belly ranging from 'Body Shop' body butters, Neal's Yard 'Mothers Balm', Cocoa Butter 'Miracle oil' as well as 'Bio oil' all to keep my tender bits moisturised and supple in a bid to avoid stretch marks, so far so good but it's still very early days.
The front panel is rather large which makes it quite interesting and cool in my opinion, I wore them today and can't even explain how comfortable they are, there's nothing to dig into the sides of your feet making it PERFECT for a pregnant lady who's feet may swell up. FYI: They look good with skinny jeans or a skirt. Price £45

The Body Shop 'Body Butters' have been my favourite to rub all over my body, I stocked up in the Xmas sale and have almost every variation. I love how thick and moisturising the consistency is.
However, my absolute FAVOURITE which I have been rubbing over my belly, breasts and thigh area is the Neal's Yard 'Mothers Balm'.
It's a thick balm which is easily absorbed into the skin, it does leave a slight oily residue but that just lets me know how moisturising it is. I have read a few reviews that anyone who has used this whilst pregnant never got stetch marks so I wanted to put it to the test.
It contains coconut, apricot, beeswax, almond, and macadamia oil all of which is 100% organic. All good then, it costs just under £20 for 120ml which is a little expensive but worth it if it REALLY does keep me stretch mark free. Also a little goes a long way so it does last quite a bit.
I went to the Topshop maternity section to be disappointed and ended up finding this gorgeous green flowy top from their standard range. It will work wonderful on my bump during the summer with skinny jeans, and when I'm bump free with a nice waist belt. Price: £25
I spied these beautiful short wedge leather sandals also in Topshop and fell in love within a second. I have so many flat sandals but wanted one with a slight wedge for extra support and a tiny bit of height. The wooden wedge makes it ideal for causal outfits yet still summery and boho chic to go with glam outfits too.

@Fantastic it's so hard, it's better just to look at the normal ranges and hunt the suitable outfits down :) xx
beautiful top and beautiful bump!
those shoes are fab and awww at ur lil bump! x
I wish I had listened to her...I slathered on Bio-Oil twice a day (despite hating the smell)...but 3 weeks before my delivery, purplish stretchmarks showed up on my side :-( Being pregnant with twins - I don't know if stretchmarks were inevitable or not....still, after a year they faded to silvery marks which you can only really see up close.
Still - if I were to do it again - I'd use Neal's Yard for sure...and you can't go wrong by trying a bit of everything - as you're doing ;-)
Also, I wanted to tell you that I have been so inspired by your blog, that I am going to start my own blog! I am so shy and I feel awkward because people might make fun of me or if no one reads my blog, but not any more, I'm going to do!!! Thanks for the inspiration. I'll let you know when its up and running, I would love for you to take a peek!
