Revlon - Blue Lagoon

'Blue Lagoon' is such a lovely name for a nail polish isn't it? I mean even without seeing the shade I would want it. It's one of the new shades that Revlon has released for the summer and I heart it!


On close inspection it's a baby blue with tiny flecks of a silver shimmer, the shimmer doesn't really translate on the nails but I know it's there.

Application was a little streaky even with a base coat, it needed 3 coats for a full opaque finish. Even though it required some effort I didn't mind as the end result was worth it.


I'm in love with baby blue at the moment, I don't know why...

I love this colour, the name alone would be enough to make me buy it too. At the moment I'm into pale mint green colours, but thinking I need to venture out into baby blues as well. This colour is gorgeous. x

I picked up Blue Lagoon recently too, just did a comparison post on my blog of some of the baby blues that I have in my collection cause I love them. Blue Lagoon despite being very pretty to look at is kinda..gritty I guess is the right word because of all the shimmers in it. I prefer What's with the catitude which is a tad darker.

OMG!!! I have had my eyes on this shade for the longest. I love the baby powder blue shade. A must get when i'm next in boots. The colour is gorge and it suits you...
