Nail Polish Storage..

I am obsessed with organising and reorganising my stash. This obsession stems from makeup, to nail polish to kitchen cupboards...

This morning I had the idea to reorganise my nail polish collection. I used 'Daler Rowney's Artist's carry box'. I purchased a couple of these a while ago from Cass Art, I stored my stationary in one, and was planning to store beads in the other. But, it's made such a practical home for my nail polishes and nail care instead.





It's compact, neat and tidy. It's totally portable, so you can grab the whole box and choose what colour you want to paint your nails with ease.

How do you store your nail polish?

Wow thats a great idea i always have difficulty finding a way to store my lacquers. You have a collection to die for love some of those colours! Would love it if you could also follow my blog, im a little new to this xx :o)

I'd love to do something like this but unfortunately the bane of my life is that my room is tiny. I keep mine in an open shoe box in one of my draws. Ugly but together atleast.

my collection is so minimal that i don't actually have a proper way of storing them. i'd still like to store them properly though, having them laying around is so unsightly.

i'll probably just do an arts & crafts type project on an old box :)

I throw mine all in a plastic box I got in poundland! lol! Its a complete mess but I know where they all are! x

ooo this is a great idea, at the moment i have all the polishes i dont wear on the regs in a poundland dinky tool box and then the rest is taking precious space in the muji type drawer things with the rest of my makeup x

My daddy make me a nailpolish shelf for the most used nailpolishes. The other I have also in a container in my bathroom. Check out the shelf on my blog!

Ohhh I've never thought of using one of those before, I have one to store all my art supplies :P I have a little red chest from Ikea that I store all my nail polish in, but I think I'm starting to run out of space! XD xxx

Great idea! I store mine in a plastic shoe box. It's clear but has hot pink polka dots and circles all around. I wanted to get another one but unfortunately haven't found one yet.

I have quite a large collection of nail varnish for my age (80+ and I'm 15) but I can't find a good way to store them. They are currently all kept in shoe boxes, but this is such a great idea! The majority are No7 or BarryM, but No7 are really hard to store as you can't see the actual colour unless you take each out. This is an amazing idea :) xo

I just had to throw loads of my old polishes away so I feel I should keep my new streamlined collection somewhere properly now and for £10 this is amazing value! Thanks for the link girl! x

That storage reminds me of the caboodle I store my make-up in!

I store my nailpolishes in a toddler shoe box - it's sturdy - and it limits the amount I can own at one time :-)

I'm a little bit worried about your Nails Inc nailpolishes because you stored them upside down (I guess to see the colour better?)...but what if the polish builds up on the opening, and hardens up...hope it doesn't!

I store mine in stationary boxes!
You know the cardboard draws, because they are pretty.

But plastic is a great idea, incase of spills!

That's a great idea for storage! My nail polishes are currently crammed into a washbag/cosmetics bag, and I can never find the one I'm looking for without emptying the whole lot out. Definitely need to rethink my storage solutions!

I use larger sized shoe boxes, I just buy small little organizing baskets and put them in the boxes :)

ah this is such a good idea to have a box with a handle! I always like to paint my nails watching the TV but can't store my nail varnishes in the living room lol, very good to be able to take it all with you x

My extensive collection are in a desperate bag that has a zip that goes alllll around the whole bag. The minute you open it the tiniest bit, all of its contents fall all over the ground!!The only convenience attached to it is that you can carry it. Your storage solution looks like it could be the answer to all my prayers, well at least the one regarding nail varnish storage!!! Thanks!!!

My storage solution is pretty similar to yours. I use clear plastic boxes that I can stack on top of each other.

Does anyone know where I could get one of those CLEAR ACRYLIC 90 count nail polish wall racks? I can get them from America but they're so expensive! Considering im in the UK no-one seems to be selling one over here. Not even on ebay!! They are so good for storing your polish's. Atm mine are all stuffed into a travel bag like a makeup one but I have ALOT and still counting! PLEASE HELP!! THE SEARCHING IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!

LOVE this. ive been searching for days for good nail polish storage. that's all i want to store lol. about how many bottles do you think the bottom holds? also is it tall enough to store OPI and China Glaze bottles? they are 3 1/2 inches tall. i can't seem to find this in a USA google search :( thanks!
