Update..

Hope you are enjoying the weather, things have been rather quiet on here as I have been dedicating myself to other things. We are moving to a new flat and the big day is hopefully on Monday, I can't wait!! I have lots to do including major shopping trips, so you probably wont see much updates, but hopefully I shall return full of energy.

and... Can I just say "I hate Nars Sheer Glow", it really doesn't look nice on MY skin :(, it's just not compatible with me, it always looks streaky on me no matter what method I try and not like my own skin. I think my skin is too dry for it, if that's even possible. Grrrrrrrrr!!! So today, I went and got a tube of the Bourjois 10hr Sleep effect from Superdrug.

It looks the same way on my skin! and I have oily skin so it has nothing to do with dryness. I hate it as well. I have tried applying it so many different ways. This is the only foundation that looks so streaky and bad on my face :- (

I've heard a lot of complaints about it being streaky as well though it was a good color match. But later after exchanging it for one shade darker, it was a better color match and not streaky. Give it a shot! :)

I swatched Sheer Glow on my hand the other day and it felt rather thick and settled into my lines. I then tried the MUFE HD foundation and it was instant love. I can't wait till my P10P is over and I'll be off to buy that. The Bourjois looks so beautiful on you--no wonder you have repurchased. :)

NARS Sheer Glow didn't work for me either. I actually went and bought the Bourjois 10 hour sleep effect after seeing you wear it, and it's honestly one of the best foundation that I've ever tried!

I actually heard that Nars Sheer Glow can look streaky when the colour is too light.
Maybe it's worth exchanging it for a slightly darker shade?

I just got it recently and am currently testing it.

and congrats on the new flat, i'm excited for you! and YES it definitely is possible that your skin can be too dry for it - I went through aperiod a little while back when mine was the same way & it made me look terrible (I think I blogged and YTed about it) but now it works well again! Sorry to hearyou don't like it <3

I would say that don't use a primer with Nars sheer glow. Use a moisturiser and then the sheer gllow. Primer makes it steaky on my skin.

It's a shame you don't like Nars sheer glow. I used so many different brands before, but Nars sheer glow is my favourite. Have you tried Becca?

hi love, definately agree about the nars sheer glow i much prefer the bourjours aswell, you should check out the too faced illuminating wand, it sounds as though we have quite similar skin and taste. Check out my blog http://makeuponthebrain.blogspot.com/ hope all goes well with ur flat x

Nars sheer glow looked like it never sank into my skin. It was a thin layer resting on top of my skin.

I didn't like the Sheer Glow either. And in my opinion, the fact that the formula is streaky has nothing to do with the color. It's just that if the color is a perfect match you won't see the streaks! There are much better foundations out there, especially for the price!

I'm sorry NARS sheer glow didn't work for you. I applied it by rubbing it between my hands and fingers and pat onto my face. It works really well. I was told that NARS foundation is best to be applied with hands.
