All that Glitters and Cork + Book of shadows talk!

A couple of days ago I went to Mac and purchased two eyeshadows. "All that Glitters" a shimmery nude colour, and "Cork" a medium warm matte brown to finish off my neutral palette.

Here they are swatched.


Here's my completed palette. *Applause!*



Also, as I am such a space saving maniac, I depotted my Urban Decay book of shadows into a Mac palette quite a long time ago but never declared it on my blog. I'm sorry, but as pretty as the packaging was for the Book of shadows, it's not practical and takes up too much space. FYI: I haven't purchased the 2nd book of shadows and I will not be purchasing the Alice in wonderland palette as the colours are too similar.

I also added my body shop and Benefit shadows, and added an extra Bourjois one at the bottom. I love saving space! :)

lolz, Im also a makeup maniac, i have a similar mac palette with all sorts in it, maybe Ill put it up one day its not pretty either but its my fave, and I have alot of products in a smaller space!

I agree - BoS is way too clunky - I wish they'd make them like the Ammo palette which to my mind, is actually like a book.

I'm really tempted to do this too - did you just use the normal MAC depotting method?x

@Lionlovingtiger yes same method, but it required a lot of ripping of the actual packaging, good stress relief :) x

I love your neutral palette, great choice of colours. Also I don't like the packaging for UD shadows either..I mean its cute but not practicle.

I use Cork a lot for my brow powder! I switch up btw it and Brun depending on how defined I want to go. And All That Glitters is such a great shimmer color--great picks!

I also want to de-pot every shadow I own! Palettes are just so much easier and conveinent!

At last....someone who hasn't been sucked in by the Alice book of shadows. It's such a rip off. Oh I love All That glitters. It's my go to eye shadow at the mo.

@Saimese it's a mac palette, I just took the circle bit out, and I didn't use the magnetic bit, I stuck the shadows down with all purpose glue as I dont intend to move them around. x

I did exactly the same thing with my UD Book of Shadows, and for a while I kept them all together. Then last weekend I resorted all my eyeshadow colors and mixed the UD in with the MAC by color family so that they get all the love the deserve! I think I have a post on it coming up this week.

You will love All That Glitters. It's the first shadow I ever hit pan on, and I wore it on my wedding. :)

Also not buying Alice palette - I have most of the colours already, so I don't need it... How did you depot you other BOS's? I have a Z Palette awaiting shadows!
