I have had a few questions about the black and white photo I added to my sidebar and default Twitter pic, so I thought I would do a post on it. These photos were taken by my husband in 2007 for a project at uni.
How old was you when you first started wearing make up?
With regards to hair and make up in these photos, well my hair was just blowdried straight. Makeup - I'm not wearing much, just mascara, cheek stain and lip balm which was basically my makeup routine until a year and a half ago.
I only started wearing foundation because my hormones went bananas and started experimenting with eyeshadow at the same time. So, basically I started wearing a full face of makeup at 23. I was united with mascara and cream blush at about 14.

I didn't start wearing make up until I was about 20. Became a full on beauty addict a few years after that. I love that there's always room to learn new tips and tricks when it comes to make up.
I started wearing mascara at about 14-15 and then when I was 16-17 and heading into college I started with a tab of foundation. Have only started playing about with colours and products for the past 18 months really - had a couple of friends in uni who really inspired me to do so.

I started wearing eyeshadow mascara eyeliner blusher and lippy t about 13-14? I didnt start wearing foundation and powder until I got to college so 17? then from 18 on it was a full face

I started wearing make-up when I was 13. Until puberty struck, I was adamant that I would *never* wear make-up or high heels.. never *ever*. But then I started buying Shout magazine, then Sugar and Bliss... and I was brainwashed into thinking that I needed to wear make-up or no boys would fancy me. Man I loved those magazines!
I mainly used to wear just concealer, eyeshadow and mascara... oh, and I loved nail polish too (but never bother with it anymore). Ahh the good old days of Collection 2000 and Rimmel!

i LOVE makeup but have only started using products other than mascara and concealer over the past 12 months or so!

I have always had a love affair with makeup. I started experimenting at the age of 12! But then I went through an awkward stage(as most of us do) and I stopped for a long time. I wore it, but I wasn't obsessed with it like I am now. I started watching YouTube and reading beauty and fashion blogs about a year ago, and Now my routine is constantly changing and I love it!
I love lip gloss and lip balms and stuff; I've used those since I was old enough for Lip Smackers (around 4 or 6 years old). I've worn foundation on and off since I was 14 (because of acne and oily skin), but I've never been consistent about it and I've always used ones like Neutrogena that have good-for-skin ingredients. In the past few months (I'm 26) I've started to try out blush, mascara, eye shadow, and all that stuff, but I don't do anything drastic 'cause I'm still a total newb.
i started experimenting with shadows at around 14-15 and then eyeliner, blush and some mascara but no lippy. i only started wearing a full face when I was 21-22. I am 23 now. :)
I used only corrector/concealer for a really long time like from when I was 13 to 20. Now I'm 23 I still don't wear full makeup because I never like how it looks (I still haven't found the right products I guess...), but I am using more of the mascara and blush :)

Ben 14 yaşındayım şu anda,pudra ve göz kalemi vs. kullanıyorum sadece.
Bu arada doğal makyajlar size daha çok yakışıyor :)

I 'd have to say that I 've started wearing the first products (concealer and e/s) at some point in high school!
Foundation and the rest were kept for special occasions back then!

i didn't really start experimenting with make-up until my early 20s...now i'm early 30s and i still haven't managed to go out with a full face of makeup! foundation scares me :o\

Like you i only started with the foundation and things a year ago before it was all harmless gloss and mascara... and look at us now!!xx
