BeneFit You Rebel Review

What Benefit says:

Our defiantly different tinted moisturizer gives your complexion coverage, moisture and SPF 15 protection all in one.

What do I think?

This tinted moisturiser gives a very light coverage, and when I say light I mean almost invisible. it just adds a wash of colour. The texture of it is quite thick but blends out very easily creating a dewy glow. I actually really like the finish it gives to my skin. However, I have come to the realisation that this product isn't suitable for my skin type. My skin is oily and this just seemed to make my skin break out as it had too much moisture in it. It would however, be great for dry skin types.

Overall I would only recommend this if you have dry skin which doesn't need much coverage for a dewy finish. If not, then stay away.

What is your favourite tinted moisturiser? Next on my list is the Laura Mercier oil free version... I have never tried it, however I need to use up other things in my collection before I go out splurging.

If I were to try another tinted moisturizer it would be the Korres one that Belle Du Jour reviewed a while ago. LM was ok for me, but kind of took on a slimy finish towards the end of the day.

I have to be honest, I've never tried a TM because I like a med-heavy coverage but I've heard that the Bobbi Brown one is good and that it has better coverage than the average TM. So that would be the one that I'd plump for:)

@saltwater dreams, yes the korres one is on my list too, might check that one before now you have come to mention it, i remember the reveiw that belle du jour did.

@Kerri I am currently using the bobbi brown tinted moisturiser and it has great coverage and i love it. but i need one a little lighter in texture.

LM tinted moisturiser is the best one I've tried. The oil free one is brill but the regular one is good if you're only abit on the oily side. They've got a good selection of colours. I love it, definitely give it a go. The only bad point is the ridiculous price.

@unicornsmile yes the price is such an offput! :)

@SalwaterDreams, I also tried the Korres one.. its a bit sticky. That's the only downfall I can find, but other than that it is a pretty good TM. I dont know if it comes in oil free or not, but I had a sample of it in Tan and I did adore it. But like I said, it is sticky.. UNLESS the sample they gave me might've been old or something?? Not sure.

I hear the laura mercier TM is quite good. I'm thinking about trying that myself. Thanks for the review, I might consider this TM considering I have dry/combo skin. :)

Also, how would I go about getting people to follow my blog? I just started but I don't know where to turn to. Thanks

I was thinking of buying this before I go away on vacay but now im not so sure...ive heard a lot of mixed reviews..love/hate :s

Perhaps you can try Tarte's Smooth Operator. They claim it is a foundation but it really works like a TM. It has a light coverage and leaves a dewy, glowy finish. It also has light reflecting particles in it. But don't worry I've never had the problem of looking like a disco ball. It has all sorts of natural ingredients too and a SPF of 20

@Style Demon I hope I use up my items fast, so I can buy the LMTM :)

@Kimberley I don't know how it happened really, I would recommend you follow fellow bloggers with the same interests and comment. It's just a waiting game really. But, it doesn't matter how many followers you have, I didn't care, blogging was just for fun and my own web space where I recorded my obsessions! :) Good luck. X

@Vi I love the Bobbi Brown TM too, it's amazing, I've gone through so many tubes!

@Ashleigh see if you can get a sample of it?

@Rena thanks *adds to list* :)

@Bloom Thanks, I didn't know the lite one was oil free. But, the shade is too light for me.

@Farah I am in 2 minds too, either LM or Korres.... hmmm :)

i like the stila tinted moisturizer..and as of lately, the hard candy one. they just re-did their line and began carrying it at drugstores--and it's surprisingly good (and cheap)!

Laura mercier oil free tinted moisturizer majorly broke me out.. be careful :( it also gets really oily and shiny 2-3 hours after application, photographs way too light.i'm clearly not a fan.. but looking forward to seeing how that pans out for you! :)
