Hello all, I thought I would check in to explain why I haven't updated in a while. Basically a couple of weeks ago we went to A&E with Esra as she was having problems breathing, she was coughing, grasping for air and turning blue. We stayed at the hospital for 4 days to be diagnosed with 'bronchialitis'. Thankfully she is doing so much better now and is about 90% recovered. They also tested her bilarubin levels for her jaundice and luckily she didn't need photopherapy and it has cleared up on its own. Thank you to all of you who sent me lovely messages on Twitter.

OMG the little one! Its so scary to hear that ..I have one that is also 7 weeks and am worried about her constantly it must have been so scary to see her going thru that in A&E and not knowing what was happening.
I am very happy to learn that she is doing better I am sure it is such a relief. Take it easy now a bit as they say that if your happy then she senses that and is happier too.

Poor little baby! So glad it cleared up on its own... After this ordeal I would say that yes, do definitely need a little pampering!

MashAllah Sis, I'm so happy that she has finally recovered, I had a similar experience with my little one when she was 3 days old, It's just so hard.

Have you managed to continue bfeeding? this always helps their health and progress.

I'm so sorry to hear that Esra has been unwell. It must have been terrifying for you all. I am so relieved to hear that she is recovering well and didn't require phototherapy. My daughter who is now 10 months old had to go into a light box after she was born and it was so upsetting.
Esra is such a little sweetheart and I really enjoy reading your posts.

I hope the little princess gets well soon. Unfortunately babies are really sensitive and fragile it's vert common for these things to happen. My nephew went through exactly the same problems when he was a baby. Wish you all the best.

Awww the poor little angel. My Anton had that when he was 6 weeks old and was in hospital for a week. They told us that for the rest of his life, he would always suffer with coughs and colds much worse than other children and he does. Glad to hear she is on the mend, she is absolutely beautiful, I feel broody!!!!
