Theatre of the Nameless...

The new collection for Autumn/Winter from Illamasqua is 'Theatre of the Nameless', I have tried 3 products and I'm impressed but, one in particular is a standout for me personally.

The collection has a good variety and a lot of things look tempting (too tempting) and wearable apart from the lipstick. I find that sometimes Illamasqua as a brand ignores the 'everyday wearable look' which is great for them as it makes them what they are, but I think it's great that this collection has something for everyone.

The standout product for me is the precision ink in 'Havoc'.

Now, I have tried the precision ink before in 2 different shades in the past and was very unimpressed, it didn't dry quick enough and the texture was just wrong. However, now I think they must have reformulated it or I just had dodgy ones because 'Havoc' is purely amazing. I have worn it everyday for the past 3 days and absolutely LOVE it.

'Havoc' is a deep aubergine shade that almost looks black/brown. It's not as harsh as black and looks great for daytime. It applies smoothly, dries quickly and does NOT smudge or budge all day. Here's how I wore it today...

Mac 'Brule' e/s over the lid, 'Satin Taupe' lightly in the crease, Illamasqua 'Havoc' precision eyeliner on the top lash line and Max Factor false lash effect fusion mascara (I hate this mascara btw).

I will be taking 'Havoc' with me in my hospital bag to jazz me up! :)

The other 2 products I have tried are the cream pigment in 'Androgen' which is a warm pale peachy shade that looks perfect on the lips or as blusher, the powder pigment in 'Zeitgeist' is a black with silver sparkles that's great for creating a smokey eye.

See swatches...

Are you loving anything from this collection?

Disclaimer: Products mentioned were sent for consideration for review, I was not paid for this post and this is my honest opinion as ALWAYS!

Havoc looks gorgeous, no wonder you're adding it to your hospital bag! Still need to look gorgeous even in hospital :)
I got Ambition, the shimmer blusher, from this line and I'm loving it. Illamasqua do blushes so well, and this one is no exception.

Phew, I thought I was the only one who did not get the fuss about the Fusion mascara. Such a disappointment, I normally love max factor mascaras.

I'm regretting not getting Havoc now, I thought it would look too similar to plain black but it's not.

I'm loving Androgen, and am yearning for Havok liner as well as Berber pigment.

Such a great collection

Love the liner and your flick is perfect! I too hate Max Factor Fusion, such a let down after the normal max factor false lash effect. Can't believe baby bubbles will be here soon, feels like yesterday you told us! Exciting! x x
