Decisions decisions, should I organise by brand, size or usage? Well this time I did a bit of all of that.
I store my make up on top of my chest of drawers which isn't ideal but I'm making it work until I eventually get a distressed white wooden dressing table!
The main white wooden storage unit on the right is from Butlers, it was approx £35. In the top drawer I have my most used and favourite make up items. The bottom drawer has all of my brushes in it. In the left divider I have my palettes and foundations and brush cases next to it.
I got a fantastic divider from TK (J) Maxx, it was about £8 and has cute fabric detailing. Here I have stored my Mac lipglosses and blushes.
I have this cardboard suitcase from TK Maxx (£4) that holds all of my unloved makeup - see ya! I have stored my main lip products inside a rustic basket from TK Maxx (£4) and added a random silk flower to beautify it! :)
I stored most of my eye products inside this rustic box also from Butlers (£12), eyeliners are at the bottom and concealers and mascaras are on top!

i'm pretty sure you've seen how i store mine so i won't go into that, but so far i'm quite happy with it.
i like that i can put everything in its place and it's out of the way. although i still wish my palettes could be somewhere closer to the rest of my makeup.
anyway, love your storage ideas! especially the way you store the majority of your lip products. it's very cute :)

Very nice, pretty, and neat! I like to store my products in a very similar way. I'll group each product together, for ex. my lipsticks/lipglosses and then within that group, by brand. I have so much stuff, and I'm constantly rearranging. =/
Looks lovely - my favourite part is the rustic basket for your lipglosses - the fabric and the flower are very shabby chic.
I store all my make-up in a caboodle - it's kitschy and reminds me of my college years. As for my extra make up - they are grouped in toiletry bags (one for face/cheeks, one for lips, etc) and stored in a cardboard floral box from ikea. I also like having things out of sight!

I have a bit of everything and everything's from different materials.
I guess our make up storages will always be a work in progress as we are always changing our minds, getting new products, changing out make up habits, etc. XXX

Absolutely cute and tidy! I love the storage system! I tend to organize mine in terms of brand and type of product: all the blushes by MAC, all the lipsticks from NYX, all the bronzers from "x" brand... etc.
It works for me!

@hannahmiamakeup - I used an empty ferrero roches box inside the basket, as I have quite a few the lipsticks are all wedged together, providing I don't take them all out at once they stay nice and tidy :)

Mine is literally plastic drawers of the stuff. Every now nd then I tidy it but I do have a box for every day work products.

I like how you organised this I love tk maxx I got this really nice mirros from there after I was struggling to ude my mirros made for the bathroom I had to stack it on books everytime I wasnt surprised you changed your makeup storage system that many times I must have done it 3 times already and I think I found something that works for me btw I cant wait to see your white table I love that kind of stuff xxxx
im exactly the same as u! i totally get bored of my storage after a while and have to switch it up, plus when you get too much you just have to re-organise it!
i can't STAND clutter and i am always organised with everything!!! I use acrylic storage boxes at the minute with one of those metal drawers ( a big one!) and then my palettes are stacked up side by side between the acrylic storage.
i also saw those storage at tk maxx ITS SOOO GOOD very good prices too for some cute things!
I never see anything as nice as what you get from butlers! Everytime i walk in there i ummm and ahh but thats about it! I love how you make the most of what you have!

That's such pretty storage, I particularly like your TK Maxx box. I have mine dotted around between a train case style box and various make up bags. I'd love a dedicated storage area but worry about little exploring hands getting hold of it! x

It looks very clean and tidy I love it. Mine is organised by face, eyes, lips but now I have seen yours I think I will make more sections for example lipsticks, glosses, rathaer than just lips. I love all your makeup so gorgeous x

i just have a small drawer unit of 6 drawers that hold my make up which is in my wardrobe as i havnt got a dressing table, i just sit infront of the mirrored wardrobe and work from the drawers, it works for me. i then have a box with make up i dont use, if i havnt gone in the box for 6 months it all get donated as its obviously things i dont need. most of it it like new so it makes some people happy.x
